Gary Lee Freis
Gary Lee Freis, 73, of Sheboygan, went home to his heavenly father on Tuesday, May 1st, 2018, at Morningside Health Center after a 3 ½ year battle with cancer.
He was born on November 19th, 1944 in Sheboygan, son of the late Lowell and Edythe (Sieling) Freis.
Gary attended Kiel schools and graduated from Kiel High School. His working life was spent at Freis Von Kiel in food service. His devoted time was spent mentoring inmates at KMCI. He spent years refrigerating food at the annual Kiel picnic and Road America for the Kiel Jaycees.
He is survived by his former first wife, Kathleen (Bender) Freis; their children, Bradley (Michelle) Freis and Angela (Jay Knier) Freis and 2 grandchildren.
He is also survived by his former second wife, Lora (Grunewald) Stover; their children, Monique Freis, Joshua Freis, Brianna (Joe Martinez) Freis, Maria (Andy Christian) Freis, Isaiah (Alyssa) Freis, Micah (Abby) Freis, Clarissa Freis (fiancé Joshua Norton); a step-son Brett (Kristine) Loebel as well as 9 grandchildren.
Gary is also survived by three brothers, Randal, Ted, and Dean Freis; two sisters, Cheryl Bornemann and Heidi (Robert Jr.) Werdeo; sister-in-law Cathy Baer; 4 nieces and 1 nephew.
A private celebration will take place with family and close friends at a later date.

Robert A. Kammerzelt
Robert “Bob” A. Kammerzelt, age 78, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at Sheboygan Senior Community.
Robert was born in Sheboygan on April 3, 1940 to Arthur and Laura (Goldapske) Kammerzelt. He attended local schools and graduated from Central High School. Robert proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1958 until 1962. On June 29, 1963 Robert was united in marriage to Patricia (Hacker) at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. Robert was a dedicated employee at Kohler Company for over 40 years, rarely missing a days work thus instilling a great work ethic in all three of his children. He retired from Kohler Company in 2003.
Bob was an outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing on the “Big Pond”, and golfing. Many memories were made during deer hunting trips up north with sons, grandsons, and close hunting buddies. He also found enjoyment in the game of cribbage, teaching each of his children and grandchildren the game. Anyone who knew Bob could understand and appreciate his unique sense of humor. Spending time with his family was one of the most valuable things to Bob. The memories made with him will always be treasured and never be forgotten. Robert is survived by his wife, Patricia; three children, Scott (Shelly) Kammerzelt, Kelly (Warren) Roelse and Cory (Kris) Kammerzelt; mother Laura Kammerzelt; grandchildren, Hillary, Haley, and Ramsey Kammerzelt, Hope (fiancé Derick Hagenow), Gabrielle, and Gavin Roelse, Cody and Dalton Kammerzelt; three great grandchildren, Payton, Ryin, and Leighton Hagenow; two brothers, James (Diane) Kammerzelt and Gerald (Linda) Kammerzelt; sister Sharyn (Bill) Mondloch; mother-in-law Florence Dillman and brothers-in-law; Lance (Sharon) Hacker, Lee (Joyce) Hacker, and Michael (Brenda) Dillman. Other family and friends further survive.
He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur; granddaughter Mackenzie Roelse; sister-in-law Lynne Kuklinski; brother-in-law Billy Grider and father-in-law Charles Dillman.
A memorial service for Bob will be held at 7 PM on Friday, May 4, 2018 at Zimmer Westview Funeral & Cremation Care Center, W2132 Garton Rd, Sheboygan, with Rev. Tom Gudmundson officiating. Family will receive visitors from 5 PM until the time of service at 7 PM. Inurnment will take place at Lutheran Cemetery.
The family would like to personally thank Dr. Kumar and his staff, the wonderful nurses and aides at The Sheboygan Senior Community (special thanks to his favorites), and the compassionate visiting nurses from Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. The support you have shown for our family is greatly appreciated.

Katherine C. Graef
Katherine C. Graef, 77, of Kiel died Monday morning, April 30, 2018 at Atrium Post Acute Care New Holstein. She was born on November 24, 1940 in Plymouth, WI. Daughter of the late Arthur & Ethel (Fischer) Graef. Kathy attended Kiel Schools and was a 1959 graduate of Kiel High School. She furthered her education at Lakeland College, graduating in 1964.
Kathy had worked for many years for Dusty Rhodes & Christmen Amusements. She was a member of St. Peter UCC, Kiel and the Order of the Eastern Star (O.E.S). Kathy had a lifelong connection with the Girl Scouts and was awarded the 50 Year Member Certificate. Kathy was a friend to many. She lived her life according to one simple rule…”God first, others second, self third.”
Kathy is survived by a large circle of friends she considered her family, especially, Geraldine Huotari and her family, Nancy Walsdorf, Sharon (Roger) Carlson, Fran Pitz, Katherine Long, Stuart Thiele and her dear friend, David Spilman. She is further survived by her Godsons; Adam & Zachary Christel.
Funeral Services for Kathy will be held at 5:00 pm on Monday, May 7, 2018 at Meiselwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home (815 6th St., Kiel). Visitation for family and friends will take place at the Funeral Home from 4:00 pm until the time of service at 5:00 pm. Burial will take place in the Kiel City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for St. Peter UCC, Kiel.
