SHEBOYGAN — A man was arrested after allegedly strangling his girlfriend on Sheboygan’s north side.
39-year-old Troy L. Duvall, who resides at 1208 North 26th Street in Sheboygan, was charged with one count of felony strangulation and suffocation and one misdemeanor count of battery. Duvall is due back in court for a preliminary hearing on Wednesday, April 18th.
According to the criminal complaint, Duvall had his family over when an argument broke out. Duvall was going to leave the residence with his family, but the victim asked him to talk about the incident and wanted him to cool off. The victim told police that she and Duvall were in her room when the man head butted her.
The victim then pushed Duvall away from her. He then reportedly shook her until she fell on her bed. Duvall took both of his hands and applied pressure around the victim’s neck, causing her not to be able to breathe. The man then bit her hand while she was attempting to get him off of her.
