Barbara Lee Bayer
Barbara Lee Bayer, 76, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 22, 2018, at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls.
Barbara L. (Dolgner) Bayer was born on September 27, 1941, in Milwaukee, to Lester and Dorothy (Whitman) Dolgner. She attended Waldo Schools.
On August 16, 1958, Barbara married James F. Bayer in Random Lake. Barbara was employed at Bemis Manufacturing for 37 years.
She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church where she served as a Sunday school teacher. She also served as a campfire leader. She enjoyed reading, playing Sheepshead, cribbage, bingo, crocheting, traveling, spending time with family and friends.
Barbara is survived by her three daughters, Cindy (David) Dassow of Plymouth, Teri (Tom) Gottowski of Manitowoc, Dawn (Rudy) Thimmig of Sheboygan Falls; two sons, James (Debbie) Bayer of Sheboygan Falls, and Jeffrey (Julie) Bayer of Sheboygan; 16 grandchildren, Mandy (Josh) Hermann, Corey (Nicole) Dassow, Branden (Tara) Kuehl, Jennifer Gottowski, Christopher Gottowski, Hailey (Jordan) Thimmig, Mitchell Thimmig, Devin Bayer, Conner Bayer, Mackenzie Ryan, Ben Cichocki, Christine and Sarah Horness, Jackson, Avery, and Sebastian Bayer; four great grandchildren, Ellie and Zoie Hermann, Morgan Gottowski, Sophia Kuehl; six brothers, Richard (Sandy) Dolgner; Randy (Rachel) Dolgner, Dennis (Patty) Dolgner, Scott (Linda) Dolgner; Gene Dolgner; David Dolgner; one sister, Joyce Whitman; nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, James Frank Bayer; one grandson, Cody James Kuehl; one sister, Ginny Dolgner; one brother, Leslie Dolgner.
A memorial service to celebrate Barbara’s life will be held on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Wenig Funeral Homes in Sheboygan Falls with Rev. Mark Janzen officiating. A private family inurnment will take place at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
Relatives and friends may greet the family for a time of visitation on Thursday at the Wenig Funeral Homes in Sheboygan Falls from 3:30 pm until the time of service at 6:30 pm.
The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff of Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for their kind and compassionate care.
A memorial fund is being established in her name for Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.

Phyllis Joy Mueller
Phyllis Joy Mueller, age 87, of Elkhart Lake, was welcomed into the loving arms of Jesus on Friday, April 20, 2018 at Woodland Village, Plymouth with family at her side.
She was born on February 10, 1931 in Loganville, WI, daughter of the late Evelyn (Casey Swenson) Schachts and Lawrence Swenson.
In 1949, she graduated from Plymouth High School. She then received her teaching certificate from Sheboygan County Normal School in 1951. After teaching for a short time, she worked in Milwaukee as a bookkeeper until her marriage.
On May 9, 1953, Phyllis married Robert Mueller at St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth. He preceded her in death in 2010.
She and Robert built a home and raised their family in rural Sheboygan Falls where they were active members of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. In 1985, they moved to Elkhart Lake and became faithful members of Grace Lutheran.
Her greatest joy was loving and supporting her family. Over the years, she also enjoyed teaching Sunday School, being a Campfire Girls leader, and volunteering with Partners in Reading.
Her many interests included poetry, musicals, reading, nature walks, mystery shows, camping, and trips to Northern Wisconsin.
Survivors include three children: Susan Mueller of West Bend, Mary Mueller of Whitefish Bay, and John (Dawn) Mueller of Plymouth, and two grandsons: Michael (Laura) Mueller of Waukesha and Shawn (Britt) Mueller of Plymouth. She is further survived by a brother-in-law, Edward (Doris) Mueller of South Milwaukee, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Along with her husband, Robert, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Edwin Schachts.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday (April 28, 2018) at 3:00 P.M. at Grace Lutheran Church in Elkhart Lake, with the Rev. Peter Peitsch officiating. Interment will take place in the St. Paul Evangelical Cemetery in the Town of Herman.
Friends may call at the CHURCH on Saturday (April 28) from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to Grace Lutheran Church and the Rocky Knoll Foundation.

Daniel James Lecher
Daniel James Lecher, age 30, of Sheboygan Falls, entered eternal life on April 22, 2018.
Beloved son of Susan (Kopecky) and the late Michael Lecher was born into life on October 15, 1987.
Danny attended Plymouth area schools and graduated from the Wisconsin Challenge Academy in Black River Falls. Following school, he began working at Oostburg Concrete and was currently employed at Homes for Independent Living.
Danny loved being with his daughter Rylee, spending time with family, hiking and nature walks, working out, and golfing. His smile was contagious. He was kind, funny, loving, hardworking, and strong. He would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. Danny touched countless lives and inspired many.
Survivors include: His daughter: Rylee; Mother: Susan Struebing of Plymouth; Siblings: Anne Gilbert (Josh) of Cascade, Andy (Angel) Gilbert of Cascade, Mike Lecher of Sheboygan Falls, Alan Lecher of Plymouth, Dustin (Sierra) Lecher of Sheboygan Falls, and Emily (Dylan) Fair of Plymouth.
He is also survived by many dear nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.
Danny was preceded in death by: His father: Michael; and Grandparents: George and Carol Kopecky, Joyce and Erving Lecher.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday (April 27, 2018) at 6:00 P.M. at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Father Wayne Bittner will officiate.
Visitation will take place at the Suchon Funeral Home on Friday (April 27) from 4:00 P.M. until the time of services.
Cremation will take place following the services.
