Kelley told the deputy that when his father let him off the couch he walked outside and entered the garage where he found his golf club and was about to go back inside the house and “finish it,” but his father had locked all the doors. The deputy asked Kelley what he meant by “finish it.” Kelley said “I was going to knock him out.” The deputy asked Kelley so your intent was to knock him out. To which Kelley responded, “Yeah, or hurt him severely.”
In reference to punching his father with keys exposed, Kelley said “I don’t even think that I drew blood.” The deputy told Kelley, “No you did.” The teen responded, “Aah, good.”
