SHEBOYGAN — Officials have released dates and locations for this year’s Sheboygan County Household Hazardous Waste Collection program.
The first event occurs on Saturday, April 14th from 8 AM to 11 AM at Maywood Environmental Park, located at 3615 Mueller Road in Sheboygan.
Clean Sweep events will take place on June 8th and June 9th.
The Saturday, June 8th collection is scheduled for 1-4:30 PM at the Sheboygan County Highway South Shed, located at 7614 Frontage Road in the Town of Wilson. The Sunday, June 9th collection is scheduled for 8 AM to 11 AM at the Sheboygan County Highway Cascade Shed, located at W6451 Highway 28 in Cascade.
Farms having agricultural hazardous waste should attend the one of the June events and are asked to pre-register their waste one week prior to the collection date with Mike Ballweg at the UW Extension Office by calling (920) 459-5904 if the quantity is greater than 250 pounds.
County residents may at any time throughout the year drop off their waste pharmaceuticals for recycling in the lobbies of the Sheboygan Police Department, Kohler Police Department, Sheboygan Falls Police Department, the Plymouth Police Department, and the Elkhart Lake Police Department.
