SHEBOYGAN — Two people were injured in a drunk driving crash Sunday morning in the Town of Sheboygan.
According to the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office, 33-year-old Andrew Christian of Sheboygan was speeding down Rangeline Road when he failed to negotiate a curve and ended up in the Pigeon River.
His passenger, 22-year-old Tyler Lecher was airlifted by Flight for Life to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah for his injuries. Orange Cross Ambulance responded to the scene and was assisted by the Town of Sheboygan and Town of Sheboygan Falls fire departments.
Christian was arrested for causing an injury while under the influence, hit-and-run causing great bodily harm and driving with a revoked license. According to court records, Christian pleaded guilty to second offense OWI last year.
