SHEBOYGAN — Friday marks the Christian holiday known as Good Friday, an annual observance that falls on the Friday before Easter, and marks the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
The day is not a federal holiday, though some offices choose to close.
Here’s a guide to what’s opened and what’s closed in observance of the holiday on Friday, March 30th:
Bank branches will remain open, but stock markets will be closed.
U.S. Postal Service offices are open and there will be mail delivery.
Garbage collection in the City of Sheboygan will also follow a normal schedule.
Sheboygan City Hall and Sheboygan County government agencies are closed. The front desks at the Sheboygan Police Department and Sheboygan Water Utility are also closed.
The Sheboygan County Courthouse will be closed. There will be no initial appearances.
Shoreline Metro buses will operate on a normal weekday schedule.
