SHEBOYGAN — The former North Bowl is being demolished but the future of the property is unclear.
Built in 1959, the bowling alley was located at 2022 North Avenue. According to real estate records, the property was sold in November 2017 to Phoenix Sheboygan LLC for $812,500. The firm also owns a nearby warehouse, formerly occupied by Muth.
The bowling alley under went major renovations in September 2001 before closing just three years later. Up until recently, the North Bowl building was owned by Martin Automotive.
The same firm acquired the former Sheboygan Scrap Metals property at 2801 North 21st Street.
Demolition started on Monday, March 12th.
