CASCADE — The Cascade Village Board has named Jason Liermann as police chief.

Liermann was sworn in Tuesday night during the village board meeting. He replaces Cory Roeseler who resigned last year in anticipation of being appointed Sheboygan County Sheriff by Governor Scott Walker. Roeseler was sworn in as sheriff last week.

The Cascade Police Department provides part-time law enforcement to the villages of Cascade, Waldo and Adell as well as the Town of Lyndon.

Liermann also serves as a patrol lieutenant at the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office.
