Sheboygan Police investigating shooting at north side home

SHEBOYGAN — Police are investigating a shooting that occurred Sunday morning on Sheboygan’s north side.

Numerous bullet holes appear in the side of the home at 1543 Martin Avenue where police officers have been all morning investigating. Bullet casings also appear covered by traffic cones in the driveway and on the street.

Sheboygan Police were called to the 1600 block of Martin Avenue around 3:22 AM for a suspicious person complaint. A neighbor reported seeing several officers responding to the home early Sunday morning. Martin Avenue has been closed to vehicles in front of the home while police investigate.

The property is owned by Thomas and Mary Ann Mullens of Sheboygan Falls. A neighbor told MySheboygan the home is occupied by 22-year-old Heaven Mullens and her young children but that information is unconfirmed. At least two neighbors told a reporter the home is troubled.

Sheboygan Police have not released any details as of 12 PM on Sunday.
