Help bring free outdoor concerts back to Downtown Sheboygan

SHEBOYGAN — All it takes is your vote and Downtown Sheboygan will be one step closer to rocking again next summer.

The John Michael Kohler Arts Center is again partnering with the City of Sheboygan and Sheboygan Squared to rally votes for a $25,000 Levitt AMP matching grant to support a series of 11 free concerts in summer 2018.

Voting will end on Monday, November 20th and currently, Sheboygan is in fourth place. To vote, visit grant.levittamp.org and click the green “Sign Up & Vote Now” button. Online voting ends Monday at 7 PM. After voting closes, the Levitt Foundation will review the proposals of the 25 top vote-getters and select the Levitt AMP winners.

“A successful campaign for the Arts Center and Sheboygan depends on community participation to get as many online votes as possible to bring the concert series back in 2018,” said said Jamie Haack, John Michael Kohler Arts Center marketing manager. “The number of online votes received, will be one of the key factors when the Levitt Foundation selects the grant winners.”

The concerts are free, open to people of all ages and would be held at the corner of North 7th Street and New York Avenue during the summer months in 2018.
