SHEBOYGAN – Experts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison will lead an upcoming roundtable discussion at Mead Public Library on the North Korea crisis.
The event, which is free and open to the public, is sponsored by the UW-Madison Center for East Asian Studies and Mead Public Library. The roundtable begins at 1:30 PM on Sunday, October 8th in the Rocca Meeting Room, located on the library’s first floor.
The discussion will explore how relations between the U.S. and North Korea reached this point, how the situation is affecting East Asia and international relations and the possible outcomes and solutions to the crisis.
The roundtable will feature political science and history experts from UW-Madison, including Eunsook Jung (political science), Charles Kim (history), Andrew Kydd (political science) and Louise Young (history).
The discussion will be moderated by David Fields, of the Center for the Study of the American Constitution.
