Lincoln-Erdman Elementary School evacuated

SHEBOYGAN — Lincoln-Erdman Elementary School was evacuated Friday afternoon and students have been moved to the Town of Sheboygan Fire Department.

Around 2 PM on Friday, September 8th, students and staff evacuated Lincoln-Erdman Elementary School on County Road J due to a gas line being hit by construction crews. “All students and staff quickly and safely evacuated the building and are currently at the Town of Sheboygan Fire Department,” said school officials.

Busses will run at the normal dismissal time (3:45 PM) and parents should pick up students from the fire station located at 3911 County Road Y.

Parents are advised to check out with a school staff member before leaving with your children. Staff will remain at the fire department until regular parent pick up time and all students have been picked up according to the school.
