SHEBOYGAN — A car that rolled over Thursday morning and caught on fire slowed traffic on Highway 23.

Paramedics and firefighters responded to a single vehicle rollover on eastbound Highway 23 between Rangeline Road and Woodland Road shortly after 8 AM on Thursday, August 10th. When paramedics arrived on the scene, they reported heavy smoke and flames coming from the vehicle. Firefighters from the Town of Sheboygan Fire Department were dispatched to extinguish the fire. No serious injuries were reported.

Traffic was reduced to one lane for about 40 minutes while crews worked to remove the vehicle which was on its side in the ditch. At the time of the accident, heavy rain was moving through the area but it is unclear how the accident occurred.
