SHEBOYGAN — Governor Scott Walker is seeking applicants for Sheboygan County Sheriff.
The appointment will fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Sheriff Todd Priebe. The new sheriff will begin serving January 3, 2018 and will complete a term ending January 6, 2019. An election is scheduled for November 2018 in which the appointed sheriff would likely be a candidate.
Priebe announced he would be retiring early from the Sheriff’s Office earlier this year.
An applicant is not required to reside in Sheboygan County at the time the appointment becomes effective. An online application can be found on Governor Walker’s website.
