SHEBOYGAN — Firestone purchased land in the Washington Square Shopping Center for a new Firestone Complete Auto Care shop.

According to Sheboygan County land records, Firestone paid $512,500 in July for land located at 2606 Washington Avenue on the city’s south side. The property is located east of Magic Car Wash, west of Culver’s and north of the Sheboygan Chevy deadership.

Pavilion Development Company, through Pavilion FS-Sheboygan LLC, purchased the land. Pavilion is a commercial development company based in Charlotte, North Carolina.

In June 2017, Firestone Complete Auto Care’s location at Memorial Mall closed as a part of a redevelopment project that calls for the demolition of the former Sears and Hobby Lobby stores as well as the Firestone building.

No word on when construction would begin on the Washington Avenue property.
