SHEBOYGAN — A strange sight was recently witnessed in downtown Sheboygan.
Soaps, serums, lotions, lip balm and more were carefully carted across the bustling streets of downtown Sheboygan. After more than 10 years on North 8th Street, Olivü 426 has officially outgrown its retail and distribution space. “It was time to move,” said Caitlin Brotz, owner of Olivü 426. “Lucky for our loyal customers we didn’t go far.”
Olivü just moved across the street from its original location to the historic cream city brick building on the corner of North 8th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue. The building will be familiar to anyone who has lived, worked, or visited Sheboygan. Olivü is now located in the space once occupied by the famous Jume’s lunch counter. “Instead of serving up coney-dog’s, we’ll be serving up several distinctive lines of natural beauty products for everyone in the family,” added Brotz.
Olivü 426 offers a line of hand-poured beauty products. Their delightful staff of 5 ladies will help you customize your products with select herbs and fragrances of your choosing. You can also try your hand blending and pouring your own products, such as lip balm. The products are great for those looking for a healthy, natural product for themselves or their family. Their products are also great for people with special skin needs, such as psoriasis and eczema
The new larger location, located at 502 North 8th Street, will be able to accommodate corporate events for businesses, group gatherings for those looking for a fun lesson on how to create natural beauty products, and even gardening groups.
For those interested in coming in, no appointments are necessary. The store is open from 10 AM to 5:30 PM Monday through Friday and 10 AM to 3 PM on Saturdays. For more information, visit Olivu426.com or call (920) 783-0809.
