TOWN OF WILSON — Love’s Travel Stops opened its sixth Wisconsin location Thursday with the addition of a travel stop just south of Sheboygan.
The new travel stop, located at Interstate 43 and South Business Drive, Exit 120, adds approximately 70 jobs to Sheboygan County. Nationwide, Love’s operates more than 420 locations according to Kealey Dorian of Love’s.
“We’re excited to continue serving communities and motorists in Wisconsin,” said Tom Love, founder and executive chairman for Love’s. “Sheboygan is ideal because it’s located close to the shores of Lake Michigan, which attracts travelers from all over the region. With its position surrounded by busy interstates and highways, we’ll serve several types of Customers. We are looking forward to providing services to people in the Wilson Township area.”
The 13,000-square-foot facility features Subway and Hardee’s restaurants, gourmet coffee, fresh fruit, gift items, 10 fuel pumps and more. It offers diesel fuel pumps, showers, a Love’s Truck Tire Care center and truck-parking spaces for professional truck drivers.
Love’s will celebrate the opening with a $2,000 donation to a local organization. The donation will be presented at a ribbon cutting held in conjunction with the Sheboygan Area Chamber of Commerce in the coming weeks.
