The facility will be built on property at Concord Drive and Gateway Drive, east of Ken Markwardt Service and south of Weeden Creek Road. The distribution center will be over 27,000 square feet with an estimated value of $10.5 million with a total build out value of $19.2 million. The proposed development will be completed in 2017 and the future expansion may occur in eight years.

There will be 44 dock doors to serve the distribution needs of FedEx.

FedEx Freight currently uses a facility on Playbird Road west of Dairyland Drive in the Town of Sheboygan. It is unclear if FedEx will relocate to the new facility on Sheboygan’s far south side upon completion of construction.
