34th annual Home Expo to be held at Lakers Ice Center

SHEBOYGAN — The Sheboygan County Home Builders Association is again opening the doors at the Lakers Ice Center to share new ideas and trends in the home building industry.

This is the year with the opportunity to make your home life more convenient, comfortable, economically sound, warm and cozy. There will be exhibitors at the 2017 Expo that can bring each of these things to you. The show is again packed with exciting ideas and new trends for your home building or remodeling projects. Shop or plan for your construction projects, all under one roof. Industry exhibitors will be on hand to assist you in your search for that perfect product or service to help you complete your project – or get it started.

New things at the show this year include a Beer Garden serving products from Larry’s Distributing. Seminars and demonstrations will include How to select a Contractor and Builder, Home Inspections & Radon Testing, 2017 Kitchen and Bath Trends, How to use equity from your home for a remodel, Pet proofing your home do’s and don’ts, Home Color and Style Trends, New Home Construction, and Kids can build a birdhouse at the Kids’ Workshop free with Plymouth Area high school students helping out.

“We are excited this year to announce, back by popular demand, the Electronic Drop site on Saturday 11-3 allowing you to dispose of your unwanted items safely,” said event chair, Shelly Nyenhuis of Macco’s Floor Covering. A full list of acceptable items can be found online at homeexposheboygan.com. Also something special for the pet lover as cats and dogs will be available for adoption at the show Saturday.

Pick up your free directory of building contractors and suppliers at the Sheboygan County Home Builders Association booth to keep on hand for projects at any time of the year. The Home Expo will be held Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Lakers Ice Center, 1202 Wildwood Avenue in Sheboygan. Show hours are 4 PM to 8 PM on Friday, March 24th and 10 AM to 4 PM on Saturday and Sunday. Admission is $5.00 for adults with children 16 and under free.
