Mark Hermann defeated in Sheboygan aldermanic primary

SHEBOYGAN — Two term 6th district alderman Mark Hermann was defeated Tuesday night in a four-man primary.

Henry Nelson took first place with 145 votes and Dean Dekker came in second place with 115 votes. Hermann came in third with 103 votes followed by Bob Heck with 65 votes. Nelson and Dekker will face off in the spring election on Tuesday, April 4th.

Nelson is a County Board Supervisor and Dekker is a custodian at James Madison Elementary School. Hermann was first elected alderman in 2013 and re-elected in 2015.
