OOSTBURG — Representative Terry Katsma, a Republican from Oostburg, officially begun his second term representing Wisconsin’s 26th Assembly District in the state legislature on Tuesday, January 3rd.

Rep. Katsma and his Assembly colleagues took the oath of office in a ceremony today using the same Bible that was used in 1836 to swear in Wisconsin’s first governor, Henry Dodge.

“I am humbled and honored to have been entrusted with the duty of representing the people of Sheboygan County in the State Assembly,” said Rep. Katsma. “As our beautiful State Capitol turns 100 years old this year, I promise that I will continue to serve the people of Wisconsin with honor befitting our proud history.”

Representative Terry Katsma represents the 26th Assembly District including the cities of Sheboygan and Sheboygan Falls; the villages of Adell, Oostburg, Random Lake and Cedar Grove; and the towns of Lima, Holland, Sherman and Wilson.
